The Lodge stands less than 300 feet from a common boundary with Roosevelt National Forest and a similar distance from the boundary of Rocky Mountain National Park (which adjoins Windcliff). And, the view to the west from Snowdrift Lodge encompasses the towering grandeur of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains... within what appears to be arm's reach.
The Snowdrift Lodge Experience
Step inside this mountain rental home masterpiece to be greeted by a symphony of etched glass, slate, rock, tile, wood, and modern hues --- all in perfect harmony. The living area boasts west windows focused directly on the mountains. Towering walls resonate with art that evokes and captures the spirit of the nature surrounding you. Oversized couches await your moments of shared “debriefing” after every outing. A pair of hob-nail recliners is focused directly at the mountains. A fireplace stands at the ready; its massive mantel a giant beam of time-weathered wood salvaged from some earlier story of these mountains. The west deck is outfitted with a gas grill, tables, and seating for all.

Summary: well appointed property with great views. the a/c is only mini splits so can get a bit warm on a hot day. otherwise, a beautiful home in a great location

Summary: We have rented a number of properties in the Estes Valley over the past 15 years, and Snowdrift was the very best by far! Besides the amazing views, the property was perfect for our family of 7. Having 3 full bathrooms was very much appreciated, as was the spacious downstairs family room for watching movies. The kitchen was also very well stocked with everything we needed for meal prep. The home was beautifully decorated with a mountain theme, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We appreciated the friendly welcome at both check-in and check-out, and are already looking forward to planning our next stay!

Summary: The property itself was beautiful and well stocked with everything that we could possibly ask for. I think this place was the best place in that regards that we have ever stayed in Estes. Fantastic views!! Very good instructions, communication by owner and property management. In terms of house items, the only real complaint was master bed. It seemed to cave to the middle and may just need a new mattress. The house itself is high up off the main road with a lot of switchbacks, but if you take it slow it is good. Other than that, we were very happy with the property, really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place! Estes park is one of the best places to go!
