Positive: We couldn't find the unit (GPS malfunction??), so we rang the hosts who gave us accurate directions and met us at the unit. We had been given instructions on how to get into the property. He was very friendly, informative and we shared a few stories. Comfortable bed, walk-in shower (not common in UK), functional kitchen with some basic supplies and lounge. Skylight (when closed) made the bedroom completely dark for a good night's sleep. The other host was in the carpark when we checked out and was also friendly. She suggested that we stop at Lacock on the way to Oxford, which was a beautiful historic town with lots to see - thank you. We ended up staying for a few hours.

Negative: Not so much a dislike but a note for future guests. We didn't realise that the bedroom had a skylight which was open (it was dark when we went to bed), until we were woken by sunlight at 3am. There were instructions on how to close it in the living room which were easy to follow. We closed it when we went to bed on the second night, which worked well.

Positive: Location was excellent for access to Bath via regular bus service, as well as other places such as Chippenham or Melksham. Short drive also to the American Museum and Lycock.

Positive: The cottage was very clean with everything you needed for a relaxing break. It was cosy and very comfortable. Some very nice touches included tea, coffee, biscuits and milk being left for us. Bath was in easy reach with the bus stop a very short walk from the cottage. Box itself is a delightful village with some lovely walks in close reach. Would definitely recommend Skittles and hope to return again soon. Excellent value for money.

Positive: Absolutely would recommend this place. Nice, clean and spacious. Some nice little touches by the owners including a cookie jar - although I didn’t have any lol - a well presented folder of how everything works and local facilities etc.. I made the pub they recommended but gutted the curry house was closed by the time I thought I’d get something to eat. Gives me an excuse to visit again
