Positive: There wasn't any breakfast available. The location was a little out the way, we had to call taxi if we decided to go anywhere. But we where expecting that.

Negative: Our room didn't have a workable tv, I did complain about it, it didn't go any further.

Summary: Our over all stay was excellent.

Positive: The connection to Edinburgh main town. Accessibility throughout the day and night. This is Students accommodation so access to groceries, amenities was fantastic.

Negative: Non availability of on ground staff to support minor issues. Everything was charged if the staff is not around.

Positive: Comfortable, clean. 10min walk from Haymarket Tram Station. Buses to city centre outside the door. 25/30 min stroll into city centre.

Negative: No facility to make a tea or coffee. Admittedly, could be messy if people were allowed to take hot drinks to their rooms. Have a no hot beverage sign on the door leading to the rooms. But a tea/coffee dispenser in the rec. room would be a good idea.

Positive: Position was good and price fair especially as I was there during Fringe. Felt v secure as a single woman traveler. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. Clean and the bed was comfortable . Take your own kettle

Negative: Checking in could be smoother if reception was manned from 3-6 or there was a longer check in period

Positive: The quality/comform very good. Location also with several buses connecting you into the city centre (if you prefer not to walk) .

Negative: A bit too many messages (automatic i suppose) about what happens if (you pay if late for check in, for loosing a key etc) .. but at the end all went well

Positive: Great location. Perfect for the fringe. It's university accommodation that's repurposed for the summer.

Negative: We lost our room key on the first night. When we phoned up for help they wouldn't continue until we had paid £60 and then still weren't able to give us a new key. They expected us to phone each time and get a student warden to let us in. Ridiculous.
