Summary: The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! The hike down to the secluded beach is moderately difficult but well worth the effort . The beach front hike provided more stunning views. The apartment is very modern with a comfortable living area, a kitchen with a stove top/oven, plenty of cooking utensils and modern appliances. There are 2 large bedrooms (one with a magnificent view of the ocean and surrounding mountains), each with a private toilet and shower. There are several restaurants in the area and dinner at the Badachro Inn is a must! Our lovely hosts, Mark and Maria, were most gracious and helpful. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Gairloch region.

Summary: Fabulous location, beautiful well appointed apartment with wonderful natural light. Sounds of the sea and the birds made our stay a delightful week. Mark was a friendly host who was on hand to help but gave us free rein to enjoy our stay. Beautiful flowers to welcome us too. Would love to return

Summary: The loft conversion was lovely , very cosy . and lovely n warm .It had great facilities . Beds very comfy and lovely linen . It is 8 miles from the nearest village . Great views . Lovely place to chill . We traveled about the 2 full days we had , but enjoyed the relaxing evenings .Would definitely recommend .

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Mark and Maria were fantastic hosts, available when needed but gave us much privacy. We loved the views, cats, sheep, and many birds we saw during our stay. On clear nights we enjoyed looking up at the stars and Milky Way through the skylights and even saw some shooting stars. Gairloch is nearby and has several cute shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery when traveling to Inverewe Gardens and Ullapool. We had the best time and were able to relax and rest. We highly recommend staying at Shiskine!

Summary: Excellent property which is very well presented with the most amazingly comfortable king size beds. Amazing location with stunning sea views. Mark was a very good and helpful host and replied promptly to any queries we had prior to arrival and was available on site should there have been any issues during stay (which there weren't). Would be very happy to stay at Shiskine again.

Summary: Beautiful cottage at a beautiful location. Isolated enough to be calm, yet easy to reach grocery shops and restaurants. The view from the cottage itself is priceless. Would definitely go back.
