Positive: Beautiful room. Excellent location. Short walk to the Ferry and short walk to the onsen up the hill. The tatami mats with futon cushion makes for a firm bed! This is exactly what one should expect from a traditional Japanese room. Not a negative, just good to understand beforehand for westerners.

Negative: Bath is available to one gender at a time. I think the second bath is closed?

Negative: Aside from the location, this guesthouse felt just average and not really worth the money. The price is rather high compared to the value. The bedroom was fairly comfortable, but there weren’t many amenities provided. I met two staff members, and neither of them looked very welcoming

Positive: Very nice spot to explore Rishiri! The room was large enough, with all needed amenities. The shower/bath room was nice and never crowded. It was simple, but cosy. Close to the ferry terminal and restaurants. 15mn walk from the Onsen. WiFi worked perfectly, not sure why the rate was so low!

Negative: No air con! No air con! No air con! And the door lock was difficult to open with the key. Even though it's known beforehand, but no toilet in the room is very inconvenient. You can hear other people making noises early in the morning
