Positive: Kind and helpful staff. Lake and igloo village view in the room. Next to the igloo village. Generous dinner and breakfast. Indoor and outdoor onsen. The last bus stop and station is just outside the hotel. Recommended winter festival..see the different igloos on the frozen lake, buy drinks in the ice bar, try the snow mobile, snow rafting etc…

Positive: Genuinely amazing. Fantastic view of the lake, excellent food and comfortable room.

Negative: Nothing. I’d suggest only staying for 1 night as there isn’t much to do at the lake itself. Definitely worth a visit though.

Positive: Nothing not to love- location, friendly staff, Olsen, food, view. Sad we missed the Ice festival ( Shikaribetsu village) by only 3 days. Stayed here May 2024 and returned in the winter. Staff speaks English and is very respectful courteous and so nice.

Positive: Friendly Staff. Very good Onsen, with a nice outside bath. Good food, beautiful view of the lake. Easy parking and easy access from the road.

Negative: The meal was very complete, and it would be nice to have a brief explanation of each course. Maybe a printed list, even if in Japanese.
