Positive: This is a super clean hotel with modern design. From inside out, you can feel the intention of building the reputation for the Kamishihoro. And it definitely works, after staying one night, I can't wait to go back to this little, quiet, and beautiful town. I was so impressed by the breakfast, the free coffee bar, the embedded technologies around the hotel and its related facilities (like 24 hrs selfservice store and laundry room), the free gifts to the guests - including free tickets to the onsen bathrooms nearby. In summary, I loved this hotel and I wanted to thank my God who let me accidently find this hotel on the Bookings. There might look so many other choices in other towns nearby, for example in the Obihiro area, but trust me, you couldn't find better value or great experience somewhere else. It is worth of driving 30 mins away from your planned route to meet the Kamishihoro Hotel.

Negative: I couldn't find a guest room that allows for more than two people to stay, therefore I booked two rooms for my 3 members family. ( Two adults and one 8 yrs old girl). But this wasn't a huge problem given that the price per room is quite affordable.

Summary: Great Design, Great Value, Surprisingly great hotel located in a beautiful little town in Hokkaido.

Positive: Breakfast was simple but sufficient and really delicious, very nicely packed and thoughtfully kept warm. Delivered straight to our hotel room as well. Room was well equipped with dyson hair dryer, netflix for free and even free tickets to visit a nearby onsen. Staff spoke fluent English and helped with dinner reservation, really appreciated the help.

Negative: Nothing much, the room may have been a little small but it was sufficient for a night's stay. Parking was a little bit of a challenge though as we only saw about 3 to 4 parking lots in front of the hotel, not sure if there was more parking at the back. Also, we were not very sure how to operate the air con as it was not blowing out cool air despite setting the temperature to around 22 degrees Celsius
