Positive: The Shephards Hut is a wonderful place to stay and to enjoy the wonderful beach and dunes of Findhorn. It is located only 50m away from the beach and at night you may listen to the sound of the waves. The tiny house is very well equiped. We loved it.

Positive: Absolutely stunning location of this compact and bijou Shepards Hut. It has everything you will need for your stay. The quality of bedding was excellent. It was spotless and lovely decorated. We sat outside late evening and looked at the uninterrupted sky and stars. Left the stable door open all night so we could hear the sea. Just magical. So close to the village, beach and pubs etc. would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to go back for another relaxing break.

Positive: The hut itself was amazingly located by the beach, loved the sea views. Level of kit in hut was ideal for the stay, super comfortable and would stay again for sure.

Negative: Getting access to the property wasn't ideal - I first went to reception but couldn't locate anyone. Fortunately, I met into another guess having the same issue so I felt less worried (safety in numbers!). I didn't get an answer to my calls but was able to make contact via message and then gained access to property.

The location is absolutely incredible – waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sun rise over the beach was a real highlight. The hut was beautifully designed, warm, and surprisingly spacious, with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. It felt so peaceful and remote, yet was still close enough to explore nearby villages and walks. I even spotted dolphins from the hut one morning – a truly unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature in a unique, scenic setting
