Boisdale is situated in the heart of the village, within a short walk of all that Findhorn has to offer including the beaches, Bakehouse Cafe, Kimberley Inn, yacht club and Marina. The cottage has a rich history as it is approximately 200 years old and was once the village's chandlery. It is beautifully quiet and private and each of the rooms has been simply designed for our guest's comfort and relaxation.
Downstairs, you will find the kitchen, dining room and lounge which are all lovely spots to hang out together. The dining room and lounge both have woodburning stoves.
The two king sized bedrooms are located on the first floor. Both are dual aspect and are light and airy with super-comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms.
The two twin rooms are located in the eves of the cottage. With dormers looking out towards the beach and the Moray Firth.

Summary: Well appointed and equipped converted cottage on 3 levels. The living spaces were spacious and furnished with a modern finish. The property appeared to have been upgraded recently so all the decor appeared bright and fresh. All the kitchen appliances were new (and sometimes challenging!) with plenty of good quality cooking utensils if you wanted a night in. The wood burner in the living room was very cosy, once we got the hang of it. Investing in kindling helped. Having en suite shower-rooms in the double bedrooms in addition to the main bathroom meant that the four adults in our party had plenty of privacy and time to get organised. A real home from home with an exceptional range of coffee table books.

Summary: Boisdale was everything we had hoped for in a holiday home from home. Well equipped for families including small toddlers. We couldn't fault anything during our stay and would certainly have no hesitation recommending this lovely cottage.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully kept and laid out cottage. We loved everything about it! The owners have thought of everything (we have a two year old so we’re pleasantly surprised how well equipped the cottage was for very young children ). The front and back gardens were also perfect. We had a beautiful and peaceful time and hope to be back again!
