Summary: First, we must state this was an exciting trip to visit our son at USAFA and get away in the great outdoors. A respite for him. Unfortunately, it became a time of sadness as we had just loss our dad/grandfather. But Darrell welcomed us, was gracious to let us have time alone with little interaction, was even willing to give us an earlier check in if needed(but wasn’t). The home was perfect for what we needed. It was quite, welcoming and the outdoors was a perfect spot for our family to reminisce about grandpa. We eventually got through it and were still able to enjoy all their home had to offer. From favorite movies in the evening, to grilling a favorite meal, enjoying the evening sky with the fire pit and s’mores, lots of card games around the table and corn hole matches. even made it to church that was close by(5min drive) to Lake Pueblo for a day of relaxation in the sun(6 min drive), got a round of golf in at Desert Hawk (5 min drive)and the conveniences of multiple stores and food. Darrell even shared some fresh picked veggies from their garden. Their home had all the necessary things we needed to make our stay enjoyable. They even had snacks and drinks for us to enjoy. We only missed meeting the other half of this great duo. Thank you for sharing your home and we hope to come again.

Summary: Very courteous and accommodating at all times! Went above and beyond to pickup and stage groceries prior to arrival. Provided all my prior requests.! Super Friendly and will definitely return next year and each year after that. Only I would suggest instructions on TV and DVD.
