Summary: This home is so cute! My son and I were staying on the coast in FL in August of 2021. Red Tide was really bad and ruining our month long vacation. A friend of mine told us about Lake Placid. I found this place and we left! We booked a week and just before the week ended, my son asked if we could stay another week. I asked the hostess and she said it was available so we stayed. She had everything we needed there. We booked jet skis from a local guy. We walked across the street to the bar for food a few times. We played in the lake everyday. The storms in the evenings were absolutely amazing. There’s not a lot to do in this little town during the summer months but if you’re looking to chill on the lake, this place is awesome. We’re trying to book it again for May of 2022.
