Positive: Beautiful updated condo right on the beach. The host was very responsive to my questions. Nice quiet location. I come from a tourist area so this was important to me.

Negative: A little bit north, so more homeless on the beaches that lived there. They didn't seem to bother anyone, though. They are not within a mile of the condo, though.

Positive: We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in West Oahu!! First of all, Char is an excellent host. We had the detailed instructions before our stay and phone contacts. The apartment is very well decorated, cozy, very clean and quiet, and has a parking spot reserved, perfect if you came with your car. There are plenty of ammenities (bathroom/kitchen/umbrella and chairs for the beach) and all is very well equiped (AC unit/fans/microwave/oven/2 TVs), the couch is very comfortable, the balcony is my favorite place as the views to the private community pool and the ocean, are breathtaking, and we enjoy having breakfast/dinner there. There's a beach in front of the apartment where you can enjoy lovely sunsets. We encounter some neighbours during our stay and they were friendly. Location is very good as you have supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations nearby. The connection to H1 is very close by.

Negative: Can't say nothing about the apartment as we loved it all. Wishing we could have more time to stay there. Just mention that to go to the second floor there's no elevator, just a few stairs.

Summary: Fantastic & quiet apartment with an excellent host for an outstanding stay in Oahu

Positive: First off, communication with the host was punctual and thorough, but most importantly the pictures on the ad are exactly as it really is, which is stunning and put together. Char is an insightful and thoughtful host, making sure that her guests truly feel that they are at home, with all of the amenities that they might need while on their trip but weren't able to bring along. Our stay genuinely felt like we were at our own home. Added bonus, even though the unit had AC, we felt comfortable turning it off on cooler nights and leaving the screen door open from the patio to fall asleep to the breeze and sounds of the ocean.

Negative: The entrance to the location can sneak up on you when driving southbound, and when we arrived past 9 the gate to the parking lot was closed, but there was also a person there to assist us with it right away.

Positive: Char’s place is amazing by any account! The localisation is breathtaking, the view from balcony directly to the ocean is something you can’t get enough of and the apartment is delightfully decorated, with all the necessary amenities (and much more). The private pool is also pretty cool, but when you got sort of a private beach by the ocean, you don’t even use the pool that much. Also the neighbours are very nice and helpful. West Oahu is simply beautiful.

Negative: There’s absolutely nothing to complain

Positive: First, I wish I could add pictures, you could not ask for a better place to enjoy all Oahu has to offer...close to everything yet away from crowds so you feel like you have your own private island and beach to enjoy. The owner (Char) was amazing to work with and has this property impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, stocked and supplied well beyond expectations even given the beautiful photos with the listing you will still be pleasantly surprised and extremely happy every time you open the door and walk in to what truly feels like the perfect hideaway to enjoy all you can imagine and then some... This was our 25th anniversary and I looked at many options from resorts to homes...from Waikiki and the crowds to many locations we ended up visiting in our daily excursions, and I can say without question I made the right choice and would not have changed a thing...my wife was beyond happy and that is what I had hoped for. This condo and location allow for breathtaking sunsets, relaxing walks along the beach that were almost private as seldom were others out during the many walks we enjoyed, and when you do meet others you feel more than welcome and as if you had been a local and known them for a long time. This condo gave us the privacy and seclusion we had truly hoped for but honestly did not expect to find when visiting Hawaii (plus a shower easily enjoyed by two with room to spare) while allowing us the easy access to get out and explore all over the island from Pearl Harbor to the North Shore and more. We would definitely recommend this to anyone, but especially to couples wanting to enjoy each other as well as all Oahu has to offer.

Negative: Our only complaint was we only booked a week. I understand this may sound like a commercial, but my wife and I have traveled for business and pleasure through the years and stayed in all levels of accommodations and I had booked this with fairly high hopes as a surprise for my wife for our 25th anniversary and I can easily say it exceeded both our expectations and we both had wished I had booked it for a longer time and that was or is our only complaint (except I forgot suntan lotion part of the first day on my ears, lol).

Summary: Exceptional is the first word that comes to mind!!!
