Summary: We had a fantastic time at this home. The view is beautiful, as is the house. Both are thoughtfully and impeccably maintained and while it felt like a luxurious property, I was very comfortable there with our young kids. Also, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a home with a kitchen as well equipped as this one, from appliances, to plates, all the way to the cooking utensils and meat thermometer, it had everything we needed and more. The drive up through the neighborhood is partially paved and partially gravel, but the gravel was in great shape and our party had no trouble with it in our 2 minivans, even in some summer rainstorms. We had a fantastic time and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Summary: The Mountain Top Escape was the perfect place for our 2024 girls get-away. The views of the mountains were absolutely spectacular… beyond description! We loved watching the fog lift from the valley below as we sipped on morning coffee or watching lingering wisps of clouds settle on the hills as we sipped cocktails at night. It was simply magical! We also appreciated your beautiful gardens, well-equipped spacious kitchen, the many great gathering places throughout the house and very comfy beds. It was the perfect home base for exploring Asheville. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Summary: Three generations of our family came to Asheville for a school play. The road up to the house was rocky and very curvy, but the gorgeous views and lovely accommodations more the trek worthwhile. Amazingly well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and beautiful indoor and outdoor places for our family to gather. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Summary: Our extended family of 16 people met this year in Asheville to celebrate Christmas together. The house could not have been a better set-up for us. Close to downtown, restaurants and breweries for daytime excursions, and secluded enough to feel like we were escaping the world for a few days together. Excellent communication with the host. I have nothing for them to improve upon, great vacation!
