Seawood Vista is the perfect getaway, located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood just 3 miles North of the Seaside village of Trinidad, 3 miles South of Patrick's Point State Park and about 20 miles South of Redwood National Park. This luxurious 2 story, 2400 square foot custom home has sweeping ocean views and sits on over an acre with Redwood and Alder trees. Guests are greeted to luxury and quality throughout this 3 bedroom, 3 full bathroom home. Enter on the main level which offers one bedroom with a Queen bed and woodland views, full bathroom with a combination tub/shower, living room and dine-in kitchen both with breathtaking ocean views. Cooks will love preparing meals while gazing out to sea in the well appointed kitchen with stainless steel Bosch appliances (stove/oven, dishwasher and extra large French door refrigerator), gorgeous Quartzite counter-tops and breakfast bar island. Enjoy family meals at the large dining table for 8 or head out to the deck and barbecue on the gas grill while looking for whales! The living room is a great place for relaxing with a large sectional sofa and leather chair, wood burning stove, 65 inch Smart T.V. and Blu-Ray DVD player. The wood beam, vaulted ceilings and gorgeous hardwood floors throughout this home add to the wonderful warm ambiance. Step outside to the expansive deck and take a soak in the new, large hot tub, a great way to unwind after hiking in the Redwoods!
Head upstairs to find the Main suite, 3rd bedroom, bathroom and alcove. The Main suite has stunning, sweeping ocean views in 3 large picture windows one with a window seat, a King Tempur-Pedic bed, 43 inch smart T.V. and plenty of open floor space to either do some yoga or spread out the 2 twin foam mattresses as extra sleeping space for small children. The main bathroom is simply dreamy! Soak in the claw-foot bathtub or step into the large, Travertine tiled walk-in shower and gaze out at sea. The 3rd bedroom has wooded views, a Queen bed, 43 inch smart T.V. and is tucked back from the master offering nice privacy. The alcove just beyond offers a workstation for guests needing to work while on vacation and a full sized futon sofa comfortable for sleeping 1 adult or 2 smaller children. The 3rd bathroom is located just off the alcove and has another beautifully tiled porcelain walk-in shower. The indoor laundry room is located just off the kitchen and has an extra large Electrolux front loading washer and dryer. Step outside into the front yard and enjoy sitting in the Adirondack chairs watching the kids play on the large lawn complete with soccer goal net. This house has it all, the perfect getaway for visiting the Redwoods!

Summary: We could not have stayed at a nicer place while up in the Trinidad area celebrating our sons graduation from college. We'll be back for sure and look forward to staying there again.

Summary: Seawood Vista was just what we needed for our getaway. The house was clean, well appointed and stocked. The kitchen and master bath were beautiful, and the living room TV was huge. The view of the ocean from the hot tub was spectacular and when the jets were off we could hear the waves and sealions in the distance. The hot tub was the cleanest I've seen at a vacation property! Trinidad (such a charming town) is a short drive and the people are very welcoming. The market has fun local fare and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Trinidad Bay Eatery and Gallery.If I had complaints they would be the memory foam mattress was too soft for us and the sofa was a little uncomfortable. Overall though I would definitely recommend Seawood Vista to friends!

Summary: Home was lovely and well stocked. The hot tub was very nice and the wood burning stove was cozy! The views were amazing! We appreciated that the checkout/cleanup policy was reasonable. My only gripe is that the check-in time is kind of late (4pm) and the checkout time is early (10am) for the price you are paying.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is so SPECIAL for our family. It truly is a paradise because of the architecture, the attention to the highest quality beds, bedding, furnishings, views, surroundings. We feel just like we are in our own home, and we appreciate the luxuries this vacation rental provides. We've been here before and we are coming back, instead on once a year, twice, and for longer stays. NO city lights; you see the stars so easily. NO city noise, your mind and heart relax and rejuvenate. I wish it were mine! I have already recommended it to several friends.

Summary: Our family of five spent a week here in late July, early August. The property is fantastic. It is secluded and while mear a main road you’ll never know it. This place is a retreat and we used the whole property, from the hot tub on the back deck overlooking the Pacific to the front yard playing soccer with the kids. The kitchen was the main hub and it is well appointed. You’ll love drinking your coffee and cooking breakfast while the family makes plans around the large island with an ocean view in the background. The location is right in the middle of the redwoods. We spent about half of our time south torward Eureka and the other half north around crescent city. There is so much to see and this is such a nice home base I wish we would have had more time. Make sure you check out Seawood Cape. It’s a great spot to walk to in the morning before everyone gets up where you can have the Pacific and the sea lions all to yourself. My son and I did this on our last morning at the property and it was the perfect way to finish an extraordinary trip.
