Positive: The juxtaposition of old and new. The modern touches cohabiting with vintage finds. The brushed gold fixtures on the door knobs and drawer pulls are the jewelry to beautifully plastered walls, classic vintage and traditional furniture-a dashing touch of elegance. The carved stone vessel sink. The veined black and beige marble floor tiles in the bathroom, unexpected. The unique lighting thruought and the hand white washed oak LVP floors, artistic. The linens on the bed, comfortable. These are some of the reasons travelers stay here. It's a cozy space. It's not new. While rusty around some edges, it feels luxurious. It's been here, it feels like a warm hug, and it's the right place to be. Savor it. Absorb it. Take it all in. Enjoy. And, best of all, I was able to enjoy my stay at Rock Rose Cottage with my two fur babies.

Positive: The location is good, 20 mins to the south visitor center of Redwood National Park. Lots of good places to eat in the next town 10 minutes away.

Negative: Cell phone reception is not stable in this area, which is closed to the national park. The house number could be made more easily seen from the street.
