Positive: Lots to like here. The home was spacious and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Close to beach, easy 2 min walk. Quiet area, somewhat secluded while still being close to other properties. Nice wooded views and clear skies. Nearby top rated Indian Pass Raw Bar or short drive to Port St Joe. Close to St Vincent Island for hiking or just stroll the beautiful beaches steps from your own door, especially at sunrise or sunset. Laid back vibe great location for families or couples. Very dog friendly island.

Negative: The main problem was with the door code/lock. The instructions were confusing for me and the helpful folks at vacasa. While I was able to get the backup key , thank you vacasa for the specific help with that, I never received any follow up from vacasa regarding the main problem with getting a working code for the main lock. Adding to that problem, while we did arrive 1 hr early to the house without a prior early check in approval, we were unable to get approval to open the door 1 hr early even though the house was already serviced by housekeeping. Really? Not the kind of service I would expect or hope for. Beach traffic was a bit much at times. The master bed was nice but on the soft side for me. Also, no dishwasher or clothes washer singles available.
