Positive: The view. Spacious enough for a couple. Location. Well stocked and clean.

Negative: Sliding glass door not working properly...does not lock, have to use a bar. Structural damage under home, pylons have shifted or not standing. Faucet in master bath shower needs replacing, about to fall off. Yard area, surroundings around house need to be cleaned up...yard trash, steps need to be cleared. Outdoor table needs to be updated...broken, rusted, metal table and chairs...too hot to sit in. Plastic or wood table would be better suited. Toooo many steps to house in front and then again in back to beach. Hard to lug everything up for a long stay. KO

Negative: WE DID NOT LIKE THAT THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR DID NOT LOCK! VERY UNSATISFIED ABOUT THAT! Why even have a lock on the door?? Made NO sense! There is NO light by the grill or down the back steps. There were no cleaning supplies to even clean the grill with. Also, it definitely need a newer mattress, sleep was very rough.

Positive: Very cute and big enough for my husband and I. We Loved being on water and sitting together in the big deck chairs. Plenty of bath towels and kitchen towels. Overall the house was ok.

Negative: The bed was horrible. It sank in the middle and the head was lower than the foot. We had to sleep with our heads at the foot end 6 out of 7 nights. The house has a lot of structural issues and the bedroom is extremely un-level.

Summary: Cute, older home.

Positive: The view was great. The privacy was exceptional. Location was good.

Negative: The floor was uneven in the bedroom, making the bed unlevel. There were spiders in every corner, window and light fixture of the house. Somehow a crab got in and was running around the next morning, which made the house smell of crab. (We did not leave doors open or anything.) The bed was lumpy and not comfortable. My back has hurt all week. The back sliding glass door wasn’t locked on arrival because the latch was broken. I cut a piece of PVC, I had in my truck and put it behind the slide to secure it at night. I left it for you. The slates in the middle of the bedroom door were popped loose. I popped them back in, so they wouldn’t think we did that. The TV remotes in the bedroom are not programmed for the TV, rendering it useless.

Summary: This place is a few easy upgrades away from perfection.

Positive: Location was absolutely perfect! The house was well equipped. Our vacation was quiet and peaceful.

Negative: After the first day, we could not use the shower in the main bath. It was cracked and flooding the floor. On our last day, as we were packing to leave, contractors came to replace it. Wish it could’ve been fixed prior to our arrival.

Positive: My husband cooked breakfast every morning. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Toaster included.

Negative: The key pad to enter the house was sometimes frustrating. Expecially in the pouring rain! Some of the boards on the deck felt weak.
