Other Policy For our guests' convenience, we offer a direct transfer from the airport via a scheduled speedboat. the speedboat operates two trips daily between the airport and ukulhas, as detailed below:, scheduled speedboat trip: duration: 90 minutes, departure times: 10:30 am and 4:00 pm (fridays: 9:30 am and 4:30 pm), guests can transfer directly from the airport or from jetty number 1 in male (if staying in male). our airport representative at help counter d11 will assist guests waiting at the airport, please be aware that the boat may not depart exactly on schedule and could experience slight delays, return transfer: departure from ukulhas: 7:00 am and 1:00 pm (fridays: 2:00 pm), arrival at the airport: approximately 8:40 am and 2:40 pm (fridays: around 3:40 pm), departure point: ukulhas jetty, important notes: pre-reservation is required one day in advance, due to weather conditions, the boat may leave earlier on some days at 6:00 am, arriving at the airport by approximately 7:45 am, at the same time, the boat can be requested to leave at 6am from ukulhas, if the guests have an earlier flight time, all prices are quoted in usd; payments in mvr (local currency) will differ, but payments in euro can be accepted, please note that alcohol is not included in any of our meal plans as we are located on a local island in the maldives.please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Positive: SeaLaVie was fantastic! The location is perfect - just a few meters from the beach, where the snorkeling is easily the highlight of the island. The breakfast was awesome, offering a huge variety of dishes to start the day, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. What truly stood out, however, was the staff’s incredible support during situation in the Middle East when my flight was canceled. They went above and beyond to accommodate me, extending my stay at a very fair rate and even helping me navigate the complexities of a visa extension. They turned a stressful situation into a seamless experience. I can’t recommend this place enough for their kindness and professionalism!

Positive: Wonderful stay! The staff is amazing, the room was very comfortable, and we could easily access everything we wanted to see and do around the island.

Negative: Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction happening on the island. This impacts every place you can stay, but does impact the overall feeling of relaxation for a vacation.

Positive: The staff and the owner are extremely nice and kind people...always available and we genuinely caring . Sea La Vie is an oasis in a jungle of construction around it on Ukulhas ...once we were inside the courtyard we could forget the huge construction..although occasionally we could still hear it. Sea la Vie does a nice breakfast...and the lunch or dinner is served at an adjacent restaurant..which was friendly and tasty. Nice location, too, on the beach .. bathroom was spacious..plenty of hangers for snorkeling gear to dry. The reef was quiet nice ...not the best we've seen ...but easy to get to. Some sharks and a turtle. Some live coral ...good in places. The very best was the morning mantra ray trip ...and aod boat trip early in the morning just for us two . Very recommended.

Negative: Certainly we were hugely disappointed by the encouragement high rise construction on the island ...it's already busy busy and it's going to be we guess twice the amount This small island already felt on bikini beach crowded ...something like Southern Spain ...lots of people too stamping on the corals .....we can't imagine what it will be like when the available beds is doubled??? Furthermore there seems to be no management by the island to ask tourists to behave nicely to their environment...especially the coral and sea life .there are no information signs 😕

Positive: On arrival at the island (via speed boat), staff will meet you at the pier and help you with your luggage to your apartment, and the same applies for departure. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with air conditioning and a fan. There is a good choice of breakfast, with several types of local breakfast or a continental breakfast served on the terrace surrounded by tropical plants. It is accompanied by good coffee, tea and a choice of juices. The location itself is about 100 metres from the sandy beach. There are many restaurants serving local delicacies in the immediate vicinity. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Negative: That this holiday had to come to an end and we had to go back home.

Positive: Very nice guesthouse. Super friendly staff working there, always ready to help. Nice location, room very good for family 😊 We also booked few excursions via hotel and it was pretty nice! Highly recommended!

Negative: Island in general now have many buildings under construction, but it not hotel mistake, just beed to be ready for it.
