This lovely little Kool and Quiet retreat on the edge of downtown, is only 5 blocks from the Anchorage Museum. A $7.00 cab ride or nice walk will get you 10 blocks to the heart of Downtown and all the restaurants, activities and art galleries.
There is a small set of stairs leading down to your private daylight basement garden apartment, it has 8 foot ceilings and plenty of "full size" windows and a kitchen. There is wall to wall carpeting so please "remove your shoes at the door" and enjoy your stay.
Had enough of all the tours and sights, grab a good book from the small library and relax in the backyard while you catch some rays.
The photos were taken at the hight of summer, if you arrive at a different time of year, the backyard will be, different in the winter there will be lots of snow. We strive to make everything as comfortable as possible and are constantly upgrading.

Summary: We stayed at the Sea Wolf Inn for five nights. It was perfect for us. The apartment has a kitchen for those who like to take a break from restaurants. It is well stocked with all the supplies you have at home. It is on a quiet, neighborhood street. It is walkable to downtown. And Lisa is an excellent host. She has tons of advice and information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend Sea Wolf.

Summary: Property located in a funky part of Anchorage. Older homes close to downtown. The rooms were the lower level of an older home. Had our own entrance. Our hostess, Lisa, was wonderful! Exceedingly friendly and full of great tips and knowledge about the area. The kitchen was exceedingly well equipped and had snacks and bagels, tea and coffee. Good TV reception and WiFi. Parking was a bit scary at first but we soon learned how to fit the rental into the space - no big deal !We had a fabulous 6 days here and actually started calling it 'home' after 3 days. Our only complaint was the REALLY low and small toilet! We're older and it was a challenge to use. Needs updating and perhaps some grab bars on the tub/shower. Reminds us of the homes we grew up in. Very comfortable ( great bed !) for a longer stay. Handy location and if weather is good the yard is usable to soak up the sun. Great vacation!

Summary: Lisa was so kind and generous and helpful and her home was cosy and welcoming. Everything was easily walkable. It never took us more than half an hour to get wherever we wanted to be. Highly recommend.
