Summary: Spent two nights here while visiting Salzburg: this was one of the very best experiences we’ve had. From check in through the end of our stay, the service was impeccable. Room was amazing - we were second from the top with a 270 degree view of the city. We had a multi-course meal at The Glass Garden and an informal dinner the next night in their restaurant/bar: excellent wine and drink selection, exceptional food, and again wonderful service. The pool and jacuzzi area is beautiful, and we enjoyed that area twice. Short 10 minute walk gets you to an elevator that takes you right down to town. Perfect home base for a classy Salzburg adventure!

Summary: Why would not choose to stay at the castle on a hill with stunning views? The property grounds are serene, the staff friendly, personable and accommodating, and the walk to town is charming. Also, book a day just for the spa/pool.
