Positive: We loved the location and cleanliness of the hotel. Our stay was very comfortable.

Negative: I think more washing machines can be added to accommodate the guests who wash and dry their clothes. There were three washers and three dryers, and waiting for your turn when it's busy could take forever.

Summary: We had a good and comfortable stay at this hotel.

Positive: Location a short walk to the train station and old town. Comfortable bed and good size modern room for two people and a balcony if you choose this option. You can also leave your luggage in the lockers in block A,so quite handy if you have a later departure after checking out.

Negative: Having never stayed in an apartment before we found it soulless and a pain to keep entering a PIN code to enter the building and room. Due to local regulations there is no way you can cook anything to eat which for us defeats the purpose of staying in a apartment. There was no information pack or microwave in the room which other people have mentioned in previous comments and the response from the owners has been we will take this in consideration but have not acted on any constructive feedback. Apparently they have a contact phone number but it rings then cuts off,so all communication is done via What’s App

Positive: The location of Master Mirabell is excellent, just a short stroll from the main train station, the Congress Centre, and Mirabell Gardens, making it a convenient base for exploring Salzburg. The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay and would probably discourage us from returning or recommending the property to others. We stayed in room 101, which is directly above the communal garden. The room was constantly filled with the smell of cigarette smoke and vaping from outside, making the air inside quite unpleasant throughout our stay. The view from the room was also rather depressing. The bathroom design could be improved. The shower glass screen is too small, so after every shower the entire bathroom floor becomes wet. Although the rooms themselves are well insulated, the room doors are not. Every time the corridor door slammed shut, a loud noise travelled through our door, and during the night this was enough to wake us up. On our last day, all the luggage storage lockers were occupied, and with nobody on site to assist us, we had to find an alternative place to leave our bags. One thing that was not clear at the time of booking is that room cleaning and towel changes are not included unless you stay for a week. They are available on request, but this was not clearly stated in the booking terms. It would be fairer and more transparent for this information to be made clear when guests make their reservation.
