Positive: The space is nice, and staff were very kind and friendly.

Negative: Breakfast could be improved. Not many options, and didn't look very fresh. Room was quite small for what we paid for it.

Negative: Restaurant took over an hour to cook our food. Rooster woke us up at 5:00am. The shower and toilet next to each other was odd.

Positive: Location is great, right in the middle of Makindu. The compound is very safe and there is an on-site restaurant. Breakfast was nice, for a vegetarian there were a few different options. The rooms are large and have good beds with mosquito nets and clean towels. The wifi is decent and they had multiple routers across the hotel so you could stay connected. Appreciated the bottled water in the room.

Negative: The hot water only worked on one of the evenings - the rest of the time the showers were cold. There is no safe in the room, would suggest that these are installed. The AC turned on but seemed stuck at 24 degrees.

Summary: Convenient location and safe compound, needs a bit of work still
