Positive: We booked very last minute ( within minutes😅) just for one night before our main booking on the island (as we weren’t sure of our arrival date/time ) but we nevertheless received a very warm welcome from Rosie and her team. The villa was simple but charming and very comfortable. We loved the setting in the banana plantation. The pool was delightful. We had a delicious dinner and appreciated the complete quietness after a very long journey from the uk! We had a short walk to the “secret beach” before reluctantly leaving. Rosie and her team deserve a mention for wonderful hospitality , professionalism and friendliness . If you want an unspoilt stay and don’t mind not being directly on the beach you won’t be disappointed.

Negative: No fault of the property but so much plastic waste on the beach in this side.

Positive: Our stay at Satya Villa was truly exceptional. The villa is stunning, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. From the very beginning, the entire team demonstrated an outstanding level of professionalism and care. Communication was flawless — every request or question was answered immediately and thoughtfully. We strongly recommend arranging transportation (car or tuk-tuk) through the Satya team. It is faster, more reliable, and more cost-effective. Thanks to their guidance, we avoided being overcharged for a taxi from Port Blair airport to the port, as they shared the correct local pricing in advance. Delivering such a high standard of service on a remote tropical island with complex logistics is truly remarkable. Secret Beach is wonderfully secluded and ideal for guests seeking privacy and tranquility. Reaching it involves a scenic and adventurous jungle walk of approximately 20 minutes. Kalapathar Beach can also be reached via a longer jungle walk — around two hours if you take your time to explore, take photos, and fully enjoy the surroundings. While the island itself still faces challenges with waste management and stray dogs (which are friendly), the Satya Villa complex is peaceful, clean, and very well secured. The property is fenced, and as two women traveling together, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. The villa is equipped with efficient air conditioning and a ceiling fan, both working perfectly. The private pool is a highlight — ideal for swimming, relaxing, and unwinding in complete privacy. The food menu is excellent, offering healthy and delicious options. My daughter and I both felt noticeably lighter, more toned, and rejuvenated — a wonderful combination of thoughtful cuisine and high-quality massages. The team’s local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable.

I’m writing it only because I really loved my experience here and felt it deserved more than just a one line comment. So I stayed here for two nights, and honestly, it ended up defining my entire Andaman trip. The resort feels intimate, warm, and thoughtfully put together. It’s not your typical property it’s a boutique space that truly captures the essence of the islands and makes you feel like you’re on a real island vacation. What stood out most for me was the architecture. As someone who genuinely practices and values sustainability, the make of the property meant a lot to me. The banana plantations, the earthy tones, and the aesthetic made the space feel peaceful and grounding. This trip was planned for my partner’s birthday, and the team went out of their way to make it special. In the evening, Moi, Sawmtei, and Raman took us on a lovely walk that turned into a short hike to a secret beach. They had set up a beautiful picnic there, and we had the entire place to ourselves! That moment was the highlight of our trip!! Romantic, quiet, and so thoughtfully done. Thank you to the team for organizing this, it truly meant a lot to us. Theyve got a restaurant. The menu is curated around local island ingredients, especially seafood which is exactly what you come to the islands for. As a seafood lover, I absolutely loved the flavours. And the staff… they honestly make the place what it is. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and always smiling. Special shoutout to Rossie, the manager... even before we booked, once I mentioned it was a birthday trip, she made sure everything was taken care of. I genuinely trusted her, and she delivered beautifully. Thanks to the entire team for making us feel so comfortable, like we’d been there forever. Overall, the hospitality, the vibe, the thoughtfulness everything was just right. I’d 100% recommend

Positive: It is difficult to say how lovely, friendly and perfect this place was - an outstanding resort ! Rosie was the perfect host and Mawimawii ran the restaurant with excellent food and service - the resort is spotless and all staff were welcoming and kind - if we could we would have stayed longer - in fact if we could we would have stayed forever !
