Positive: Sapphire Seas was in a beautiful spot overlooking the North Sea. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and the decor was lovely and full of personality. I enjoyed the autumn theme. It's just a short walk into beguiling Whitby with it's abundant shops, cafes, pubs and galleries.

Summary: One day when we return to Whitby we hope to stay at Sapphire Seas again.

Positive: The apartment was truly stunning, the decor was beautiful with every detail considered. Autumn decorations and Halloween treats were a lovely and welcome surprise. The beds were scrumptious, and gave a great night's sleep. The kitchen had everything you could need, and there was a really detailed handbook. The parking spot just outside the back door was easily accessible. We would definitely visit again! Thank you

Positive: The location of this apartment is perfect. A very picturesque outlook onto a green area and the sea beyond. Everything in Whitby is within easy walkable access even for senior citizens. The Whitby double decker hop on hop off bus tour stop is not far away and takes you around Whitby (tickets valid for 24 hours). The apartment is very well appointed with everything, and more, that a couple or a family could need for their stay in Whitby. The correspondence from the hosts and the very informative folder and instructions provided is without fault. This is our second stay at Sapphire Seas apartment and we will happily return.

Positive: We liked everything about this place!. Lovely apartment, great location, especially having a parking space. The hosts, Claire and Paul have thought of everything!! Not only do you have everything you need, but they have left a very thorough guide on the apartment and surrounding area, cannot fault them at all. Great communication with the hosts from the moment we booked to after we left. Everything we needed to do, where to find everything, every detail, including the flavour of the coffee pods, and what was expected from us as tenants was clearly explained. When we arrived there were a few extra personal touches for our celebrations that really meant a lot, and was a really nice touch. We will definitely be going back. Thanks for explaining. Positive: Location was perfect on the ground floor with great views. We stayed in the same building last year but a different apartment. Host had left a very nice welcome pack.

Negative: The lock box is a bit fiddly to retrieve the door key. Would be nice (in better weather) to be able to sit outside the property. We noticed other properties nearby had table & chairs in the front garden.
