Positive: Beautiful details and care put into everything. So lovely..my room snd the plants…the yoga shala on the roof with an amazing view as well as the meditation area one floor down..everywhere you look is beauty.

Positive: Everything was first class. The host, Michael, is amazing. He took excellent care.of us. His thoughtful recommendations made.our stay in Kandy hustle less. Besides everything, he is an excellent yoga teacher :-). Location; it is close to Kandy city center, but since it is at a bit higher altitude, there is no pollution (light, noise or air). Facility; it is carefully planned and built mansion. Every detail is sophisticated. The garden is full of spectacular birds. It was definitely our best place we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Positive: Beautifully nestled in the hills around Kandy. Non of the noise and buzz from the city. Stunning views, especially from the shala. Very helpfull staff, free hatha and meditation practice in the morning, good breakfast. Excellent choice for a solo traveller.

Negative: Due to its beautiful location it is about 20mim tuktuk ride from the center and good food options. However you can easily order food from uber eats or pick me.

Summary: Wonderful mindful escape from Kandy-Buzz.

Positive: I liked my room and all the common areas. Everything was kept nicely with many plants. There is also an amazing meditation room and a yoga area on top of the roof with amazing views! Another detail was the water dispenser and the possibility to keep food in the fridge. Michael and all his team were amazing, thank you for letting me stay one night longer when I was feeling a little unwell. Breakfast was also amazing as served with lots of fruit and Sri Lanka food. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Negative: In my room I missed a little wardrobe or the possibility to keep my clothes outside my backpack.

Positive: Mike and Krishnan were very accommodating and helpful right from the start and gave me tips on getting around too. Mike sorted out my transfers from and to the train station even though he was supposed to conduct the morning yoga session so I really appreciate his effort. There’s a yoga and meditation hall and you can use it anytime you want. The stay here was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka and I really hope to come back soon.
