Positive: Our hosts were the standout part of our stay at the Comfort. Kushana gave us excellent recommendations for our stay in Kandy (and beyond!). He offered to drive us wherever we could, making our stay very easy. We were very well fed and his wife is an excellent cook! The homestay itself has excellent facilities and beautiful views from our room. We felt very welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay.

Positive: We could not have asked for a better stay. The hosts were so generous with their time, driving us to all the main attractions and kindly being our personal tour guide of the city. The homemade breakfast was delicious and we were able to try a lot of food from their beautiful garden. We felt very looked after and cared for. Strongly recommend staying here!

Positive: The place was very spacious with kettles in every room and attached bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable and offered to book various tourist attractions for us. The dinner was also delicious with generous portions. I wished we stayed for more nights.

Positive: Our family stayed for 5 nights at The Comfort, the homestay of Kushana and Poornima. A lovely old villa with spacious and clean rooms each with a lovely balcony overlooking a garden full of trees, birds and animals and a most spectacular view of the hills. A great place to sit to peacefully start and end the day. Our hosts were both ever so warm-hearted, they looked after us so well and gave us many good tips, organized interesting excursions and Kushana even took us on several of these. We experienced so many things in our time there and Kandy is a super base for all these. The home cooking for breakfast and dinner was also delicious. Thank you both for showing us so much of your wonderful country with its amazing culture and nature.

Positive: Kushana and his family were amazing and warm welcoming. We felt like home the moment we met him. He brought us with pleasure to many beautiful places that we couldn’t have visited without knowing him. The food at his home was also incredible. His dog Bella is also a superb +, cute and full of energy. If you want to experience Kandy at its best, don’t hesitate to go there, you’ll enjoy it a lot! We would like to thanks Kushana once again and as he said, it’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you soon.
