Positive: Lovely stay at Salty Lodge. Simply but tastefully decorated and very comfortable without lots of clutter. Big, comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen and cleaning cupboard. The apartment was clean on arrival and they provided bedding and towels but could maybe have done with more than one loo roll. Location is terrific, right on the beach and the hosts were lovely, looking out for us when a storm warning was announced. Even with the storm, the shingle beach got pushed up to the wall but no water came into the property and it felt like it was very safe.

Positive: Location is a dream! This is our second time staying at Salty Lodge and it was just as wonderful second time around. The bungalow is small but perfectly formed with a well-equipped kitchen, simple, stylish decor, comfortable beds & pillows with plenty of towels, including beach ones. The views from the main bedroom and living room are beautiful and the outside space is so lovely. The beach in front of the house is empty, even in the height of summer. The hosts are so wonderful - friendly and really helpful, great at communicating and live next door if you really need anything, but leave you alone! There's off-street parking and you're within walking distance of whatever you need.
