Summary:
Bring the whole family to enjoy this immaculately restored 4-bedroom salt box home in stunning Twillingate. All four bedrooms have ocean views, as does the kitchen, dining and living room. Walk across the road to a private wharf on Upper Jenkins Cove Beach, where you can sit and enjoy the sunset by the fire pit or walk the beach at sunrise. This spacious, character-filled home offers an outport experience that won't soon be forgotten.
The Space:
You enter the home through the rear door into a foyer. From the foyer you can access the laundry room, a half bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen opens up to a dining area. The dining area opens up to a living area. From there, you head up the stairs to the 2nd floor where you'll find a full bathroom and two ocean-facing bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. You continue upstairs to the 3rd floor where you'll find another full bathroom, and two additional ocean facing bedrooms, both with double beds.

Guest have access to the whole home and property, including the wharf/fire pit area.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Saffron House. The home is absolutely lovely and well appointed. The setting was beautiful and the neighbours and other locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Marie was a great host who helpfully responded to all of our inquiries. We highly recommend this property.

Summary: I really appreciated how well the house had been updated to be faithful to the time in which it was built. I was especially impressed with the working Mid 20th Century pushbutton stove, which I have only heard of but have never used before. Twillingate was our favorite location on our trip to Newfoundland, and the Twillingate/NWI Dinner Theatre was the highlight. It is definitely worth the money.

Summary: This property had a nice view out the front to other parts of town, and was on a road less traveled so it was quiet. The house itself was very comfortable - funky retro kitchen! It was well-equipped with creature comforts and very clean. There were quiet a few toys and other items that would occupy children, if you have that need. Very close to Twillingate proper (although nothing is too far away!) and boat tours, restaurants, cafes, etc. Cute, comfortable house - we had a very nice stay and would definitly come back.

Summary: Your home is beautiful. So neat, quiet, and peaceful. Location is spot on. We all had a great time. The fog parted and let us take some wonderful pictures. When we return we hope we can stat here again. No icebergs was a bummer.

Summary: Saffron House is the perfect home away from home. Great location with wonderful views of the water. Tastefully decorated, very clean and super comfortable. Loved the beds and pillows! Everything you could want is there. The fire pit and chairs on the beach across the road completed it all. Thanks for a great 5 days. Looking forward to coming back.
