Positive: Loved the staff, the onsen and the store! The dining tenants where also amazing. The best food we had the entire trip. The dinners here where top notch and high class. And tasted incredible. We came home after 2 weeks talking non stop about the level of service and how each dish was prepared so throughly and executed with precision and style.
Negative: There was a but of a mold smell in the indoor onsen in the corner near the door to the outdoor onsen. But it's bound to be fixed with sanitation which im sure they do!

Positive: We went for half board and the food was excellent. That was probably the highlight of our trip. Room was also very spacious and comfortable. We picked up our rental car from sendai train station and drove here within half an hr.
Negative: Unfortunately the outdoor ladies onsen was closed due to strong winds that week which blew down the room. I thought they would at least have rotate the use of the men and women's onsen so that the ladies could enjoy the outdoor bath too, but it wasn't.
