Positive: We had a truly wonderful stay at the Rustic Rooms Barn Loft! Everything was perfect. The pool is absolutely exceptional — a real highlight of our stay. Bobbie and Mike are incredibly welcoming hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even took the time to suggest fun activities for our children, like discovering the animals living on the property. We’ve honestly never met hosts as warm and thoughtful as they are. The Barn Loft itself is very well equipped and comfortable, and the location is simply magical — right in the heart of the hills, beneath the breathtaking Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Positive: Super cute and unique spot in the Sierra Nevada foothills! It fit our family of 5 comfortably. The property is beautiful and the kids loved the animals. We all enjoyed the pool as well. It has everything you need to be comfortable.

Negative: The location is definitely off the beaten path, and be prepared for 15-20 minutes to get to any kind of town and be prepared for it to be limited in terms of gas and food options. A portion of the road getting to the property was unpaved and very rutted, so drive slowly. We managed it just fine in our minivan but it could be a concern for some.

Positive: Where do I start?! This is a very special place and really exceeded our expectations!! The Owners take excellent care of their property and do the same for their guests! The place was exceptionally clean, inside and out. It has everything you need and more, and not to mention a very comfortable bed. My daughter and I cannot wait for the opportunity to return to this amazing area and book an extended stay in the lovely Barn Loft. The property is simply beautiful and has such a peaceful serene vibe. The pool is also excellent! I lalso loved their outdoor pets, especially their two sweet brown and black goats! We really appreciated the awesome customer service and communication ensuring a smooth stay! I commend the Owners for all they do and the little touches that truly set them apart! ✨️✨️✨️

Positive: Excellent location. Awesome, very friendly hosts. Kids loved the farm animals and pets. Our Host spent extra time with the group, educating us about farm chores, animal care, environs, etc. Host provided valuable recommendations for hiking in the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. Overall, very excellent experience. Host provided some food and fresh produce for us too - much appreciated. Loved the swimming pool after the whole day of hard hiking!

Negative: Property completely met our expectations. This is how the Californian homestead looks. If someone wanted to get away from the chain motels/hotels, this would be it.
