Positive: The kitchen was fully equipped! Very spacious living room and kitchen. The place was very clean and the surrounding area was quiet and secluded.

Negative: Water pressure for faucets was a bit low, but understandable since this place was high up and secluded.

Positive: Location, very clean and awaiting us with air conditioner on, beautifully furnished , attention to details to please the eye and make us feel at home, spices and oil and everything you might need for cooking if needed, good quality shampoo and hand soap, the host very responsive. Some people complained about the dogs barking but I actually got nostalgic with the roosters and the dogs and the woodpeckers and all the other country sounds .Very good internet speed and coverage.

Negative: Bathroom door needs oiling - this is a must, it was waking us all up during the night when anybody was using the bathroom. The low water volume at the sinks was a bit annoying. Improvements but not essential - ancient washing and drying machines, understandable as they are outside, the good part is they are fast but I was not sure they will actually finish the work. Add something in the bathroom to hang the clothes when taking a shower. Maybe keep a cheap soap handy under the bathroom sink to manually wash some socks or a light shirt, I had to use the liquid soap for that.

Positive: - peaceful, quiet location - clean and comfortable house - owner was responsive to messages - relatively close to Kings canyon and Seqouia National Parks ~40 minutes

Negative: - too isolated in my opinion...great location if you plan to just stay put - location is pretty high up on the hill, so lots of steep winding roads. - closest store is 15 minutes (mom & pop store...they carry basic needs, NO meat products except bacon/hot dogs) **PRO TIP: Buy your groceries before you check in. **top up your gas tank, closest gas station is 20 minutes

Positive: Great facilities - having washing powder and toiletries available was great. The furnishings were very good and modern. Some little treats for us were very welcome. Very peaceful location - enjoyed having all the birds around us.

Negative: We store was some distance away, but had very little selection and nothing in the way of fresh fruit and vegetables. A neighbour told us that another store, only a little bit further away, is much better. Blinds and electronic dimmer in the bedroom a bit of a challenge.

Positive: Very cozy. The home was comfortable and we loved the coffee, popcorn and water left by the owner. Wish we had brought food because the house has a full kitchen and a grill outside.

Negative: This is not the owner's fault but the house is difficult to get to if you are coming from Sequoia NP. I recommend that you not try to get to the house from Hwy 245 (which is an incredibly winding road). You should instead go to Dunlap Road and come back east.
