Summary: First, we visited the cabin in February when there was a bunch of snow on ground with more falling. This was a trip with our puppy (his first trip). He loved playing in the snow and the property had a nice loop around the back that was easy to take him for a walk without having to go somewhere. While there are neighbors in site, they are far enough away that you can walk a dog without them being distracted by neighbors. The cabin had everything you need for a visit and then some. Karen was great to communicate with, quick answers with any questions. She had some extra items like bathroom stuff available (for those that may forget items). The heaters in the cabin (one in each room) did a great job of keeping it plenty warm, we had to turn some down. The bed was nice and soft and there were plenty of sheets and blankets available. The decor was what you would expect in a mountain cabin. My wife enjoyed the stuffed animal heads on the wall. She thought this was very whimsical as compared to real animal heads. Property had lots of parking available. We were not there to do snowmobiling, but there was lots of room to park trailers if you needed that. Kitchen had all of the needs for cooking, including basic spices. Plenty of coffee, tea and hot chocolate available, along with a Keurig style coffee maker and tea pot for those wanting more traditional hot water. While we did not get a chance to use the fire pit or outdoor fireplace, both were available. A+++++

Summary: Very clean property with tons of amenities and little extras in case you forgot anything. This is our second visit and we plan to come again in the future.

Summary: Thank you for all the "extras" you have included...comfortable bed and bedding, coffee station with everything, toiletries in the bathroom, etc. You have put a lot of thought into your guests and their needs and it is appreciated!

Summary: We loved everything about this place. It was a beautiful cabin equipped with anything you could need, close enough to Old Forge for dining, snowmobile trails were right down road, and dogs welcome which was the first reason I booked. I would definitely stay again as the property is private and so peaceful and the cabin is so homey! The owners really go the extra step with this one!
