Great for extended family getaway! Camp Gottaway was newly renovated in 2015 with a few more minor details done in winter of 2018. Three nice size bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a bunk bed & a new queen bed, bedroom2 has bunk bed & 2 twin beds, bedroom 3 has new king bed & master bath. Large hall bath. Both bathrooms have tubs. Home has lake rights to White Lake & located on an acre of private Adirondack preserve. The kitchen is well equipped and has counter with seating for 4. The open layout has a large dining room table with seating for 8+. Enjoy a short 2 block walk to White Lake's sandy beach, around the flat neighborhood or just to White Lake Inn. Home includes ample parking for trailers & multiple cars, it also has satellite TV, washer & dryer, dishwasher & microwave. Bring a beach chair, not only for the lake but to sit by the outdoor fire pit! There is a covered front porch with seating, overlooking the yard and the Adirondack preserve. The private launch ramp is available for your use to launch canoe, kayak or power boat.

Summary: Great place to stay! Nice quiet neighborhood. Access to the lake just a 5 min bike ride away. Launch you’re boat/kayak right from there. Nice clean house. Big enough for the whole family with a nice garage that made it nice for the bikes and gear. Everything I needed to cook basic stuff in the kitchen. Close enough to Old Forge but far enough away from the masses. A+!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camp Gottaway. We stayed here with 2 adults and 7 children. The house was very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone with all the beds at this house. The location is great, with a short walk to the White Lake Inn when we didn’t want to cook, and only a couple of blocks to the private sandy beach. We loved the large dining room table that was big enough for all of us to sit around and play games it the evening. The owners were very quick with responses to any questions we had. We look forward to coming back here.

Summary: We had a great time at the house - close to old forge where we shopped and also did the water park nearby. Beds were comfy and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Especially enjoyed the huge kitchen table at night for meals and cards! Thanks for having us.

Summary: We had 3 adults and a dog in our party. After the trip we had three thumbs up with dog voting “present”. He licked something in the woods and did not feel well on the last day. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cleaned air, lake within 10 minute walk with a clean sand beach - we did not need anything else to have a wonderful time. Communication with the host was easy. We were getting prompt answers to all our questions. As I said 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
