Summary: Kathleen and her brothers were excellent hosts and a shinning example of Iowa hospitality! It's very clear that their family home ( built by their father) has been well maintained and cared for. The location was beautiful, peaceful and tranquil... I will definitely stay again.

Summary: Stop The Clock is a cozy, clean house, with a great view. We loved coming "home" each night from busy wedding activities. The beds are very comfortable. We also loved waking up to watch the sun rise as we sat and drank our coffees at the kitchen counter. Kathleen is the best host, so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We are from out of state,and she even helped us find the best local pizza place for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Everything was perfect!

Summary: The home is lovely. Quiet farm area with quick access to shopping, food, and entertainment. The house had all of the amenities we needed and was very comfortable. Will for sure be staying again in the future.

Summary: Stop the clock was the perfect stay for our family. Only a short drive to our event in Coralville. A big yard for our two young boys to play. Loved the farm county. The Host family members we talked to were all very friendly. Would recommend to others that prefer a simple home instead of a hotel.

Summary: My best friend and I were looking for a quiet weekend away and this property delivered! The house was so clean and well cared for. It felt like visiting grandma’s house. We loved it! Add to it a beautifully cared for lawn and yard surrounded by fields and horses! The location was so close to Iowa City, but we felt like we were so much further away. The owner left a binder full of information - including the story of the house and it was beyond helpful! She was also incredibly responsive and helpful.
