Negative: Far too many 'plebby' English in the area = English Pub, Fish'n'Chip van in Market place.

Positive: A lovely, historic property right in the center of a beautiful village. I booked it last minute due to some travel changes but enjoyed staying here and would stay again. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. The house is roomy, clean and full of character. The pantry/fridge was very thoughtfully stocked. The location was perfect for what I wanted.

Negative: I had some trouble with the old door lock/door. The host helped me via phone but it would be good to improve that if possible. Older guests might have issues with the stairs to the third floor/attic. It would have been nice to have a comfy couch or more comfy chairs on the ground floor.

Summary: Lovely, historic property in the center of a beautiful village. Great hosts. I'd stay again.
