Positive: A beautiful house in a beautiful setting with the most wonderful 'hosts with the absolute most', Cor & Mylène. The town of Verteuil is so quaint & pretty too. The property is a 3/4 minute drive from the bars & restaurants. The room is spacious & the Brocante they also run on site spills over into the bedroom, with stunning little pieces of furniture & detail. They have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable & they go above & beyond, with drinks & a fabulous breakfast. We took our small dog, who was welcomed everywhere. The most attentive hosts we've come across. Thank you so much, both of you.

Positive: The quiet location was perfect for our needs - a nearby wedding. The room (blue) we stayed in was very large, beautifully and tastefully decorated with a stunning views out of a large window over the countryside. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom also very well equipped. The hosts were delightful and very friendly and welcoming. The parking is very secure. We have thoroughly enjoyed our night here and look forwards to going down for breakfast now..

Positive: An amazing stay at a beautiful guesthouse at the edge of the renowned village of Verteuil-sur-Charente with its wonderful chateau. Mylene and Cor were exceptional hosts, full of great advice and very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to a busy day exploring the wonderful scenery around this area. Great restaurants locally and still easily accessible to bigger towns nearby. The perfect stay!

Positive: We can thoroughly recommend La Tuillerie. Cor was a fabulous host, making us feel at home and very much part of the family from the moment we walked into his beautiful house. His cooking was great - a varied and plentiful breakfast and fantastic dinners. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. La Tuillerie is located only a short distance from the beautiful town of Verteuil and an ideal base for exploring the region. We will definitely be going back. (Oh and his dogs were great hosts too….)

Negative: I can’t think of anything we’d change, to be honest.

Summary: A fantastic stay with lovely people in a beautiful spot. We’ll be back.

Negative: Nothing. Just be aware that walking to and from the village at night is not recommended by the owner as is pitch black.
