Positive: The unit had everything you need. Full size Stove. Microwave. Fridge No dishwasher. The 2 room design was good use of space and the 2 bathrooms was a real bonus. They had a surprise in one closet. A wagon/cart with beach chairs and umbrella. And some beach toys. Very handy. The beach access was a short walk away. Awesome Sunsets. Because not in a tourist area. More local and older Snowbirds. Not busy at the beach or the area. You can walk to Local bars and restaurants. Also there is a trolley for $2.25 person unless older then 65 $1.10. Can take you to Clearwater to Pass a grill. Johns pass. The Pool is heated to 85f. They have a lot of seating in the inside court which keeps you out of the wind. A BBQ also.
Negative: Parking in high season is a big worry. They say a spot for each which is likely true if you have a small car. But F150 not so much. We had asked about the spots and finding one at the end of the night. Dismal is the word I would use. So I parked in our first day never moved because I didn’t want to deal with a ticket and there is no Night parking near the Condo if spots are taken. The unit 117 although Lovely it is located in a corner on the lower /ground floor. Easy access. Very dark. But if you only eat and sleep there it is perfect.
Summary: Great Location away from the Tourist Hotel areas. Peaceful.

Negative: The rooms were pretty dark but that probably can’t be helped, outside windows are limited. Brighter light bulbs would have helped.
Summary: We have come back to Royal Orleans three times now. The area is perfect for this retired couple.
