Positive: The Rosegarden View is one of the best places to stay on Sao Jorge! Having traveled several times to Sao Jorge, we will definitely be back to visit! Our host was personable and friendly, and treated us like family. The modern apartment was very clean, well-decorated with a thoughtful touch in its details, and provided a fully-equipped kitchen, beautiful open-spaced bathroom, and a lovely bedroom with a very, very comfortable bed! The balcony from the living room and bedroom boasts a beautiful view of the water and overlooks the town. We had dinner al fresco on the terrace several nights. Our host was communicative and informed us of various holiday activities on the island. She gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and even brought us some traditional homemade fish stew (which was so so good!). We will be back soon - thank you, Lucy!
