Positive: Within the location everything to enjoy in Bantry was only a few minutes away from Rock lawn Cottage and the Cottage itself had everything needed to accommodate our stay. Lovely Hosts Also,Great Place to stay for any Family.

Positive: We liked the location of the property as it was located in a quiet location with a nice view overlooking the mountains, near town Bantry. Property was equipped with all the necessary everyday items we needed and more. Bedrooms were of a good size, two bathrooms - shower downstairs running on boiler and shower upstairs was electric. Lounge room was a big space for entertainment , with big TV and several sofas for all guests. Lovely patio area outside to enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon or evening.

Negative: The only downside was that for any heating used or a shower running on a boiler downstairs we would have to pay an extra money.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the property and made some lovely and unforgettable memories. Hosts were welcoming and lovely. We

Positive: The house was really clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there and it was really easy to relax! It's located in a quiet area and there was also a garden at the side for the kids to play in. The host was super helpful and very friendly. Visited Barley Cove beach which was beautiful and really clean. About 40 mins drive away but definitely worth it. Lots of beautiful places to visit. Killarney is about an hour away and Cork City too if you wanted to go further while there.

Positive: The house was spotlessly clean the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. It was a generous size the sofa and the bears were very comfy. The house was well equipped and with products that were not inferior like a lot of other rentals. The location is spectacular. Bantry is action packed. It is really worth doing your research to find the things you like about the area. Here are some of our highlights. Goughan Barra forest park. Glengarriff nature reserve Garnish Island The sheep's head peninsula is my favorite part of the country it is worth really exploring. The Beara peninsula rivals or even exceeds the ring of Kerry. Barleycove is the reason people like beaches. The market on a Friday in Bantry is really good. If you have young kids the balloon guy is really good and has a great patter. The fish Kitchen does excellent seafood it only serves food between 12 and 3:00 p.m. It is world booking in advance. There is no fish shop nearby to cook yourself Union hall is the nearest a bit of a track but absolutely worth the visit. School Baltimore sherkin and Cape clear are a bit of a track but worth the effort. There's a hell of a lot more if you're into prehistory and archaeology the Mealagh valley is a virtual treasure chest. Buy the way the house is in the Mealagh valley. You have to have a car.

Positive: Beautiful rural location in the Melagh Valley on an elevated site 8 km from Bantry. A couple of stone circles are nearby, in Kealkill 1.5 kms away, and the roads are quiet enough to walk. The house was to the rear of our host's home in an immaculately landscaped garden which was great for our dog Charlie. Claire and Eugene were very welcoming with practical suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Highlights included navigating the Tim Healey Pass while touring the rugged Beara peninsula, dinner in the Gougane Barra Hotel overlooking St Finbarr's Ossory and lakes, and dinner in Blairs Cove House!

Summary: Relaxing and wonderful week's holiday in foodie heaven of west Cork.
