Positive: Steve the host was very knowlegable and interesting to talk to about the history of the area. The tower has been converted to a very high standard and made for a very comfortable stay. It is very well equipped, there is literally everything you will need. If there was anything missing i am sure the hosts would go out of their way to make sure you're catered for. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean and fresh. The tower is in a beautiful location, situated at the side of a canal with a waterfall at the side of the building. There is a lovely walk along the canal straight from the garden, brilliant for walking the dog. There is an enclosed area accessed from patio doors where your dog can wander free.

Negative: Difficult to negotiate driveway. This is literally the only negative point about our stay.

Positive: Wow! I have never stayed anywhere like this before. The most amazing location in a forest near a canal - historic buildings all around. Having one room on each floor was really cool. So well appointed and clean, friendly and helpful hosts. The walks in the forest were great, beautiful area.

Negative: With one room per floor there are a lot of stairs but I expected that. The driveway down is not for the faint hearted or big cars, but it added to the amazing atmosphere.

Positive: This place is lovely, extremely clean, well equipped and in a great location with walks straight from the front door. Owners could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: The hidden location was great We loved that we could be on a walk in moments from the property Our two dogs loved it Perfect for a short stay Our hosts were amazing and very helpful The log burner was very welcome Just be careful as our sat nav sent us to a different Robin Hood tower amazingly only 25 mins or so away
