Positive: Beautiful characterful property , v helpful owner with useful information on walks restaurants etc Position on canal is picture perfect. Interior tastefully done with lovely wood burner. Paths through beautiful woods along towpath from the door .
Negative: Nothing . However useful to know it’s perfect but small and you need to be mobile to use the stairs . Driveway a challenge for larger cars .

Positive: Steve the host was very knowlegable and interesting to talk to about the history of the area. The tower has been converted to a very high standard and made for a very comfortable stay. It is very well equipped, there is literally everything you will need. If there was anything missing i am sure the hosts would go out of their way to make sure you're catered for. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean and fresh. The tower is in a beautiful location, situated at the side of a canal with a waterfall at the side of the building. There is a lovely walk along the canal straight from the garden, brilliant for walking the dog. There is an enclosed area accessed from patio doors where your dog can wander free.
Negative: Difficult to negotiate driveway. This is literally the only negative point about our stay.

Positive: Wow! I have never stayed anywhere like this before. The most amazing location in a forest near a canal - historic buildings all around. Having one room on each floor was really cool. So well appointed and clean, friendly and helpful hosts. The walks in the forest were great, beautiful area.
Negative: With one room per floor there are a lot of stairs but I expected that. The driveway down is not for the faint hearted or big cars, but it added to the amazing atmosphere.
Summary: Beautiful and really unique property.
