Positive: Off street parking great. Furnishings fantastic. Lots of effort put into making this a superb holiday let. The kitchen was well equipped to a high standard. Very dog friendly overall. Beds amazingly comfortable with 100% Cotton bedding. It was a pleasure to stay and we would love to return!

Negative: The electric shower varied in temperature at times, despite no one else running water. But the shower attached to the bath was excellent.

Summary: Amazing holiday let. Excellent quality and furnishing.

Negative: The back door handle/locking mechanism needs attention. Stairs very creaky!

Positive: The quiet location and view from it; it had recently been completely redecorated; the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of wardrobe space with warm and comfortable beds; the living room boasts two comfortable sofas, a large flat screen TV and free WiFi. Plenty of instant hot water in the kitchen and bathroom.

Negative: The kitchen door did not want to open on arrival and was difficult to close once inside, so we only used the front door, which was not a problem. The central heating came on automatically in the mornings but we couldn't get it to come on in the evenings. I'm sure this could be overcome with clearer instructions.

Summary: A most enjoyable break in a beautiful area and enough to encourage us to return for longer.

Positive: Beautiful little cottage with the most stunning views, really well equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds and really well thought out with blankets etc for the dog. Milk and cereal on arrival and really helpful guest book. We had a lovely stay.

Negative: Would be good to have gates to keep the dog in but very quiet area so not too concerned if you have a well behaved dog,

Positive: The house was in a great countryside location but close enough to local attractions. The decor was lovely and bedding and towels were of hotel standard. Kitchen was well-equipped. It did feel like a home from home. Also the dog was well catered for with a crate, blankets and dog bowls.

Negative: I’d be a bit nervous about driving up and down here in icy weather. The stairs are very creaky but I guess that’s only a problem if you’re trying to sneak around!

Summary: Comfy, peaceful location with beautiful views over the valley. Lovely weekend retreat.
