Negative: The area is a bit noisy (lots of restaurants and stores on the street open until late). Additionally, the hotel didn't offer many vegetarian and/or healthy options for breakfast.

Positive: The hotel is across the street from the Li River in Guilin city. We are particularly grateful to Jenny, the hotel's English speaking assistant, who made sure we had tickets for our boat trip down the river to Yangshuo. She also provided a lot of information on activities in the region - the Guilin tour book that Jenny sent via email was very helpful for us (first-time visitors to the region). Thank you, Jenny! The location of the hotel is good, but very busy especially in the evenings. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Many people walk-dance-exercise along the river and there is a river beach very close for swimming. We loved our room. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows to look out onto the street. The linen and towels were clean, white, and fresh.

Positive: It is very comfortable and clean. From my experience, Google Map did not give me the exact location of the hotel and it took me a while to reach the hotel, luckily with the help.of their staff, I finally found it. Please do communicate with the hotel well in advance for their exact location. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Lots of eating places around the hotel and easy walk to the main attractions.
