Positive: We thought that the location was stunning and really peaceful (apart from the hundreds of crows!). Our host was extremely welcoming, nothing was a problem, and even though they "were not doing breakfast", there was a coffee machine available to use, with freshly baked scones and cakes laid out in the morning... Fantastic!
Negative: The room needed a little freshening up - a fresh coat of paint on the bedroom ceiling, for definite. A couple of bathroom fixtures were hanging loose - everything on the shelf above the sink fell off and the shower could be looked at. We also needed a couple of coat hooks, as there is no hanging space. These are just small tweaks - we would definitely return if we were in the area.
Summary: Lovely guest house - we would definitely return.

Positive: We enjoyed everything about our stay at Rivermount. The breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. We really appreciated having a space we could congregate and enjoy some wine with our friends after a busy day of touring. And can’t say enough about your recommendation of Mary for a driver for our visits to town. Thank you!

Positive: Clean and well-decorated, with lots of homey touches. Decent size rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice lounge areas. Good breakfast. Easy to drive or ride to area attractions. Peaceful.
