Positive: We had an amazing stay at the Kinsale Floating Home. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully designed and had everything we needed. Waking up to the stunning marina views from the bedroom was a real highlight, and the rooftop terrace was the perfect place to relax in the sunshine. It was peaceful, unique and within easy reach of Kinsale town. The hosts provided excellent communication, making the whole experience seamless. We would definitely stay here again.
Negative: Honestly, there was very little to fault. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that we only stayed for one night—it wasn't long enough to fully enjoy such a beautiful place!
Summary: unforgettable stay in a stunning floating home with incredible views—we can't wait to come back!

Positive: Gorgeous floating home. Very enjoyable stay for two nights & we could easily have stayed for longer. Next time! Hosts were very helpful
Negative: It’s a bit of a walk outside Kinsale but stunning location & a nice walk into town. There are no shops nearby so best to bring some provisions.

Positive: Beautiful location overlooking the harbour with regular visits from local seals and herons! Easy walk to the scenic James Fort and Kinsale Beach. Efficient check in and check out process, with very accommodating hosts. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and special experience!

Positive: Luxurious highend accomodation with beautiful views of kinsale bay. Very quiet peaceful area too and houseboat itself and marina location were stunning. Weather forecast was for minus 2 degrees so we were a little concerned we were going to be old but the accomodation was very cosy!
Negative: Very little to fault the houseboat had everything we needed. More control over the heating system would be beneficial as the radiators were set at a temperature and got very warm over the couple of days which meant we had to open windows to cool the space down.

Positive: Great location, nice and quiet with no traffic noise or late night revelers, secure parking with keyfob access and located just 2 mins from the beach, and the 17th century James' fort. Impressively spacious and contemporary design for a boat, akin to a penthouse or something docked in Miami, with top quality finishes, materials and bedding. Two big screen TV's with good wifi, cooking facilities, and a top deck terrace for watching the sunset. no expense spared and not really comparable to the usual trident / acton / other hotels in town.
Negative: No seals or dolphins (!) and I'm not sure if it could hold the extra weight or sink the entire ship, but the only thing missing was a jacuzzi / 'hot-tub' upstairs for those all important late night deliberations over a cigar & whiskey. Ohh and my burd took a shine to the Aussie lifeguard guy, albeit whom, when the sun shines a certain way- looks a bit like the 'Hoff' out of baywatch,. so I had to make up all sorts of lies about him to get things focused back in my direction, Sorry Chris.

Positive: Owners were super friendly and helpful but didn't intrude at all and gave me privacy / space to enjoy my trip. Houseboat was very clean, bed was really comfortable and all facilities worked well. Setting and views from the terrace were absolutely stunning. Would definitely book again.
Negative: Tricky to get food delivered so make sure you've been to a supermarket and stocked up the fridge for when you get back from the pub!
Summary: Awesome couple of nights in Kinsale.
