Positive: The old house is beautifully renovated and furnished with stylish, antique furniture. Our room with en suite bathroom was small, but very nice and perfectly adequate for one night. Our hostess was very nice, cooked us a wonderful dinner and shared quite a bit about Māori history and culture with us. Breakfast was prepared for the next day and we finished it ourselves. Thank you so much!!!

Positive: The location was great overlooking the hills and river The house had so much character and the rooms were lovely. Everything was very clean. Being able to sit out on the verandah to eat or just sit was lovely. The meals were wonderful. Bed was very comfortable.

Positive: A beautiful traditional house situated in a lovely quiet location with views of the estuary. We loved our spacious, bright, comfortable room and enjoyed sitting on the terrace listening to the kingfishers and other birds. Our host Tammy really looked after us and the food, both at breakfast and dinner, was fantastic. There is free on site parking.

Negative: Leaving too soon, we wished we had booked an extra night!
