We'll be adjusting our prices downward from May to September because of road construction that will make staying at RRW less pleasant during the day. There will be heavy equipment noise and dust, and at some point, limited access to the driveway. We're in the process of notifying guests who have already booked, but please reach out with an inquiry and we'll do our best to answer your questions with the information we have at this time.
Unique home on the bank of the Huron River, a half-mile walk to the pedestrian-friendly Village of Milford, known for its array of shops, restaurants, outside dining, concerts, and festivals.
Dine or relax on one of two decks overlooking the river. You’ll see abundant wildlife depending on the season. There’s a fire pit at river's edge for relaxing or roasting marshmallows, and a gas grill on the dining deck.
There are four sit-in kayaks available for use and more can be rented nearby.
Unique quad-level design. Enter on main level to living room and kitchen/dining area. Dining room has slider to a riverfront dining deck. It's six steps up from the main level to upper level, where there are three bedrooms and one full bath.
From the main level, it's seven steps down to the lower level den/family room and the second full bath, plus laundry area. Den/family room also has a slider to a furnished deck overlooking the river. Kitchen, dining, den, and bedroom 1 all have a view of the Huron River from an elevated position.
Basement level is currently used by the owner for storage and is not accessible to guests.
This is an owner-operated home with guest comfort and safety our priority.
W Huron St. can be busy at times, but the hillside creates a quiet and peaceful setting on the river's edge and most of the house, but there is some traffic noise during busy hours in the front rooms.
The open waterfront at the rear and the Village street out front make this home unsuitable for young children or pets. The steps inside the home and deck steps leading to the river may make this home unsuitable for guests with mobility impairments. We have hosted such guests, however, so please reach out to us with specific questions!

Summary: My brother and his wife from Texas, meets my husband and me every year in Michigan. We enjoyed being able to walk into the town of Milford. The house was very clean, very comfortable, very quiet neighborhood.

Summary: Stayed 4 nights for a girls trip with my aunt, sister and niece, and this property was perfect. Plenty of room, the house is immaculate and fully stocked, and the host provides a fantastic digital guide to the house -- as well as a physical binder -- with all the information you need for a relaxing stay. Milford's charming downtown is easily walkable from the house, so you don't need to drive anywhere unless you want to. Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Laura the host kept in touch to make sure we didn't need anything, and is as nice as can be. She made sure we had a fire starter pack for the fire pit by the river, which we really appreciated and enjoyed. This is a wonderful property and was an awesome VRBO experience. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thanks again Laura for an amazing stay!

Summary: Had a great stay with family of 5 women! The house was clean and stocked. We were very impressed how organized. Cute downtown with shopping and dinning. Rained our entire stay so didn’t get a chance to enjoy parks and beaches near by. Would like to suggest a small tv in the living room even though there is a very large one in the den. Kudos to our host who was exceptional!

Summary: Laura and her sister have an incredible home that was so comfortable, clean and convenient. My husband and mom and I all enjoyed the comfort of our beds, the cleanliness of all the spaces, and the wonderful view of the river from the main living areas. Laura has everything wonderfully labelled from light switches to appliance instructions, and furnishing contents. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Summary: We highly recommend this property. The house was clean and fit six adults comfortably. The location was perfect. We took the kayaks out several times to explore the river and the wildlife. So beautiful! We were so close to locals shops, restaurants and cafes. The digital guidebook was super helpful. Laura, the owner and host, communicated with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. We loved it!

Summary: This comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath home was perfect for the girls mid-week getaway! Plenty of room to spread out, wonderful multi-level deck allowed for great views of the backyard and river/pond in the background. We were able to bring and use our kayaks (there are one available for use at the house) and had some terrific fires by the waterfront in the evenings.
