Our 1,500-square-foot cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with 850 feet of riverfront access to the Gold Medal waters of the Rio Grande River. It is the perfect river retreat; everything is right out your back door.
With king beds in both bedrooms and full, spacious bathrooms, our cabin is the perfect home for relaxing. The main bedroom even includes an en suite bathroom to feel the comforts of privacy while sharing the house with others.
Our cabin is a dream home for fishing enthusiasts since there is direct access to the Rio Grande River. Make it your cabin for a few days the next time you adventure around Creede, Colorado!

A firepit along the banks of the Rio Grande River is ideal for gathering with friends and family and enjoying the mesmerizing views of the river and the San Juan Mountain beyond. A screened-in patio provides a comfortable space for entertaining outdoors while protecting your guests from the elements.
An exterior dog wash with hot and cold water is a thoughtful addition for dog owners, allowing them to quickly clean up their furry companions after swimming in the river or from a day full of outdoor adventures.
The open layout of the kitchen, living room, and dining room creates a spacious and welcoming atmosphere for gathering and socializing. The cozy fireplace adds warmth and ambiance during chilling mornings and winter nights as you watch the wildlife pass through the property.
The office space with a desk, extra monitor, and printer creates a remote work paradise for anyone who needs to work while away from home. You can combine work and leisure seamlessly, taking advantage of the stunning surroundings and the tranquility of the river as you work.
This home is pet-friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay).
NOTE: 4x4/AWD required (Thanksgiving - March).

Two cameras by the front door (facing the carport and the river)

We use a noise monitoring device. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations; it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only lose the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

They truly care about making your rental experience outstanding from the moment you book with them. We walked into the River Oasis and were astounded with how clean and well appointed the place was. By far, the cleanest place we've ever stayed in the Creede / South Fork area. They had SEVERAL extra blankets and pillows in the closets that were SO cozy! Having little things like salt and pepper, tupperware, baggies and doggie dishes and towels was wonderful too! This place truly had it all and the view each day was spectacular. Location was super convenient to everything as well. I'm scared to recommend this place too much because we love it and can't wait to return, but I definitely have to give credit where credit is due. You won't be disappointed booking River Oasis through VRC - both are exceptional!

Summary: A traditional large 70'-80's ranch lodge familyhome on a working ranch, just outside CREEDE downtown proper along a public access stretch of the Rio Grande river (overfished). Not that scenic, but a good base for exploring the area with a large kitchen/dining/family area, deck, and laundry room. Lots of good drinking water and hot water, has all the kitchen/laundry/personal care essentials and 2 comfy king beds in 2 large bedrooms (hard to find king beds!) lots of closet space, a small office with futon and roll away bed for kids. Fans for summer cooling, wall heating/space heating/freestanding fireplace for cool nights. Cleaning could be better, dust and bugs are always a challenge in the desert and mountains area. Decent internet and cell service. Its a short drive down the private ranch dirt road and over a short 1000 ft. of steep, bumpy section to the river. Quiet, dark at night, muledeer/rabbits/birds/ducks/hawks sometimes elk, and beware of scavenging bear. BE SURE to get the access code for the RANCH GATE too, as it can be locked at times! Probably one of the better rentals among limited options in Creede area. The local management contact was very responsive, but double layer of sign up/ emails through VRBO was confusing and contradictory to the ones from local property management. Directions were terrible. Street addresses are useless. You MUST know to look for the "W..." RANCH SIG just inside the ranch gate access road off Deep Creek Rd (aka 550).
