This is the perfect "home base" for Colorado mountain fun! Surrounded by national forest and situated nearly 9000 feet up, there are activities for everyone. Fishing, rafting or kayaking on the Rio Grande River; camping; cross country skiing; down hill skiing/snowboarding at nearby Wolf Creek; 4-wheeling; shopping and dining in Creede; and even taking in a show at Creede Repertory Theatre. Or, just relax on the front porch and take in the magic of Creede. Located at the beginning of Main Street, you can easily stroll the heart of Creede and visit the shops, galleries, museum, theatre, etc. Or just look up Main Street and take in the view of Creede's magnificent cliffs. The beautiful adobe house is perfect for a couple, with a King bed in the master bedroom, adjoining a newly updated luxurious bath. Separate tub and shower are perfect for relaxing after a day spent hiking or on the slopes. There is a second bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and half bath to comfortably accommodate children or extra guests. A rollaway bed can also be provided upon request.
Casa Kokopelli offers free wifi for our guests. Additionally, there is a 50" Smart TV with wifi on-board so that guests can log in to their personal Netflix, Amazon, or other accounts directly from the TV. An HDMI cable is provided as a convenience for connections to a computer, gaming device, Fire or Roku Stick, etc. Please note that there is no network TV available in Creede and similar to the majority of other local rental locations, Casa Kokopelli does not offer cable/satellite TV. We encourage our guests to view the beautiful mountain scenery instead!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Creede over Christmas '24. The rental was perfect for us. Loved the fireplace so much and really enjoyed interacting with the deer in the front yard every afternoon. Everything was "as advertised". We couldn't have had a better trip and the fact that we actually had a White Christmas for once was so special for us. Thanks for letting us stay!

Summary: My husband and I and a friend along with our pets enjoyed Creede for of three day weekend. We stayed at KoKopelli, which was a perfect size for us. It had plenty of parking for two trucks and two trailers and the instructions were easy to follow. We would highly recommend this nice, quaint place, nestled in the small town of Creede. We definitely hope to visit again next year.

Summary: This was my first time visiting Creede and this house did not disappoint. It was spotless, beds were so comfortable, master bathroom was to die for. Plenty to see and do in the area. Host was so kind and attentive. We will be back to Creede and will definitely be staying here!

Summary: Overall a great place to stay. The place smelled strongly of smoke from the fireplace, that isn’t good for an asthmatic. The property manager tried to remedy, by having the fireplace cleaned. But, the smell permeated the house, even though 2 purifiers ran the whole stay. I was informed that the carpeting is going to be replaced with tile. Hopefully, in the entire home, since it was filthy and probably retained the smoke smell. Once, the carpeting is removed, I would highly recommend this home. Unless you have lung issues like asthma, the smoke smell could be an issue even with the carpeting removed. Since, it was difficult for us to be in the living area because of the fireplace, It would have been nice to have a tv in the primary bedroom.
