Negative: We absolutely loved our stay here! The place is beautiful, cosy and so welcoming, with everything you could want for a relaxing night away. You can really see the care and thought that has gone into the property. The host was so helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better. The location is just gorgeous. The walk along the river right beside the property is so peaceful and scenic, and it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. 🌿🌊 We also visited Glenbarrow, which was a lovely experience and definitely worth doing if you enjoy walking and hiking. It’s only around a 15-minute drive from the property, so the location is perfect for exploring the area. Overall, it was one of the nicest and cosiest nights away we’ve had, and we will definitely be coming back. We’re also looking forward to returning when the sauna is open! 🥰 Would highly recommend this beautiful little place! ❤️

Positive: Lovely place, perfect for a couple for a few days away. The location is great for walking. The Sliabh Bloom & Offaly Way pass the accommodation & all the walks are signposted in the village. The Silver River walk is beautiful! Easy to get to Birr on the local link bus if you don't have a car.
Negative: If like us, you don't have a car, you'll need to make sure you bring everything you need for cooking/food, as there's no shop or pub in the village. Not an issue if you're driving.
