Positive: The castle is great, with great location and a very good quality of rooms.

Negative: The staff appear inexperienced. We booked in for a late breakfast. The wait staff were poor. There was no orange juice for example and it too 3 attempts and about 10 minutes to get one of the staff to go and refill the orange juice. We had stayed in this hotel previously and the breakfast had been fantastic. This time it was quite poor. The standard of food served at breakfast had also dropped we felt.

Summary: It's good for a night's stay, the rooms and scenery, but not if you like your food

Positive: After arriving at this wonderful big stately house, we where shown to our room, and realised the stairs where a problem, for my husband who was recovering from a triple bypass,they gave us another lower floor room. Which we where so grateful for , the staff are the nicest people I have come across,and we travel a lot, Lovely atmosphere as well Special thanks to 2 young girls sabbina and aiofe such delightful.

Negative: Would of liked resurant open for dinner , but we are out of season But the menu in the bar was very good lovely food and service

Positive: Kinnity castle was amazing. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We got a quick tour of the castle from the lady at reception ( Jenny I think) she was so helpful and friendly. We had dinner on both nights which was delicious and a great kids menu. Breakfast was scrumptious and again nothing was too much trouble for the staff..coffee top ups etc and the young lady serving us breakfast ( & afternoon tea) was so kind and helpful with hotel history and even directions from the hotel. The walks around the castle are excellent and the location is gorgeous. Excellent location for couples and families.we got a room upgrade on arrival which involved a huge room. We cannot highlight the Excellence and hospitality shown to us by ALL staff. We are looking forward to our next visit.
